Participation in the University Division is restricted to hornists' born
on or after July 18, 1979. Contestants must be enrolled as full-time
students at an organized institution, and may not have performed
professionally under full-time contract, or have been previously
offered such employment by virtue of winning a full-time professional
audition.
University contestants must be prepared to furnish the following at the
competition site:
a) Verification of contestant's age by showing a valid driver's license,
birth certificate, or passport
b) Proof of status as a full-time student by showing a current student
ID or letter of University acceptance for new students. Spring 2007
graduates are eligible to compete in the University Division, provided
that they meet all of the above requirements.
